Highlights from the past 12 months:
🍃 Supporting Nottingham Hospitals Charity by running a Christmas tree recycling point and collecting trees from across Nottinghamshire
🦽 Part funding an accessible wheelchair for Walesby Scouts, enabling those with mobility issues to take part in scouting activities
🌊 Our Swim The Lakes challenge raised vital funds for the Myotonic Dystrophy Support group
🏅 Children of Courage 2025 was our biggest and best event yet, recognising young heroes from across our community
Hours spent painting, tiling, clearing space at Footprints brand new centre in Clifton, helping them get ready to welcome families to a fabulous new space
💃🏼 Our barn dance fundraiser raised smiles as well as vital funds for our community projects
🏃♂️ Packing goody bags, running the registration desk and providing a tail runner for the Run with Rich event supporting the Richard Whitehead Foundation
🦺 Providing marshals for a section of the Robin Hood Half Marathon
🌿 Transforming the garden at The Level for Framework with a space that’s already changing lives
🏃♂️ Our PolioRun and Polio Week awareness events with runners, walkers & volunteers taking part to raise funds and awareness of Rotary’s End Polio Now campaign
🌺 Supporting the Royal British Legion and Poppy Appeal in Nottingham city centre
🗽 Cheering on Esther in the TCS New York City Marathon and Paul in the Robin Hood Half Marathon as they ran for Footprints Community Café
🎄 Our HUGE Christmas programme this year which included a sleigh refurbishment, Christmas parties for children in temporary accommodation and escaping domestic abuse, the Bilborough Christmas festival, sleigh collections at Tesco in Toton and our wonderful Carols at Christmas event which raised £1100 for the Salvation Army
💙 Welcoming new members and sharing fellowship at events such as our Charter dinner, the BWP gala dinner and the Little Footprints Ball
😅 Not to mention our amazing community events such as litter picks, The Oliver Hind Summer & Winter Fayres, bucket collections, and our incredible members volunteering as trustees, school governors and more….
